Responsibilities
Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Develop work plans and monitor progress on project milestones.
Roadmap Understanding: Understand program/project roadmap and key milestones, assess criticality, and determine alternative actions if dates are missed.
Project Coordination: Plan, manage, and execute multiple related projects aligned with strategic objectives.
Activity Monitoring: Familiarize with and monitor major project activities, escalating issues as needed.
Cost Monitoring: Record and monitor actual costs vs. budget for programs/projects.
Variance Identification: Proactively identify variances to plan and develop mitigation plans.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to develop mitigation actions based on program priorities.
Quality Maintenance: Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
Tool and Process Innovation: Drive new or changed tools and processes to advance the department.
Effective Communication: Influence decisions through effective communication methods.
Stakeholder Interaction: Interact with program sponsors, stakeholders, and project members to meet business needs.
Impact Understanding: Understand how program decisions impact key business metrics and enterprise strategy.
Consensus Building: Build consensus among project teams regarding scope, task execution, staffing, and issue resolution.
Media Utilization: Use multiple media formats to convey complex information and ideas effectively.
Objective Definition: Define and understand program objectives and scope, translating customer expectations and requirements.
Tool and Process Learning: Show ability to learn new tools and processes.
Project Integration: Ensure the integration of multiple projects.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of program work products.
Resource Management: Manage resources toward common goals.
Change Facilitation: Facilitate change through leadership.
Policy Development: Define and develop departmental project/program policies, processes, standards, governance, and metrics.
Efficiency Recommendations: Recommend improvements for efficiency, product delivery, and expense reduction.
Best Practices Implementation: Implement industry best practices and standards where applicable.
Requirements
7+ years of IT work experience, including 7+ years managing projects and at least 3 years of leadership experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
Ability to manage program-level view and status using Clarity/Open Workbench.
Use Clarity/Open Workbench to determine the impact of intersecting projects and programs.
Develop departmental budgets using Clarity/Open Workbench.
Model mitigation plans in Clarity/Open Workbench and make recommendations.
Extract information from Clarity/Open Workbench to analyze intersecting projects and departmental allocations.
Utilize MS Project to communicate status based on project or program needs.
Schedule meetings with internal and external resources using MS Outlook.
Communicate departmental information using MS Excel, including multiple worksheets, filters, functions, and pivot tables.
Create presentations in MS PowerPoint to present complex ideas clearly.
Create documents in MS Word to present complex ideas clearly.
Use MS Visio to communicate departmental information and create diagrams.
Estimated Min Rate: $65.00
Estimated Max Rate: $75.00
