- Pay Rate: $20-24/hr
- HOURS: M-F 7am-3:30pm
- This position is for an Production Operator on 1st shift who will work in the Formulation department to support manufacturing of Bio-Rad production pools in compliance with established GMP processes and procedures.
- Performs directed activities in the Formulation department to assist the manufacture of Core, Hematology and Diabetes product pools and intermediates.
- Prepares for production by reviewing production schedule; assembling equipment and supplies.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures
- Documents production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches.
- Performs basic instrument operation and maintenance, etc.
- Can assist in the troubleshooting instruments/equipment or reagents related issues and coordinates support operations.
- Can assist the routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Reviews maintenance and/or equipment specific procedures.
Required:
- 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to operate lab/test equipment
- Experience operating manual, semi-auto and automatic production machinery preferred.
- Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred
- Accurate and detail-oriented.
- Team player/ flexible/ attentive to detail and quality minded.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, with overtime and weekends as needed.
