Production Assembler (ONSITE)

Production Assembler (ONSITE) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s client working in Richmond, CA .

• Pay Rate: $20-22/hr
• ONSITE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate filling and packaging mechanical equipment.
• Read and understand technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, or other verbal or written instructions.
• Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
• Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
• Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry. Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
• Your keen attention to detail will ensure all parts and products under your workstream in proper working order and meet the quality standards of our company and our customers.
• Your effective verbal skills will contribute to our team environment by allowing you to convey instructions or report issues to coworkers and supervisors.
• Your initiative and drive to complete your tasks with high quality and on time will enable us to fulfill our customers’ orders on time and right the first time.

Required:

• 1-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, to write, to comprehend, and follow written instructions
• Basic math, problem solving and computer skills
• SAP experience a plus
• Experience operating manual, semi-auto and automatic
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
