Yoh has an immediate, direct placement opportunity for a Payroll Manager within the Financial Services Industry, to join our client on a hybrid schedule, in Wayne, PA.

  • Up to 110K/yr. and 15% STI bonus incentive
  • Must be located within 50 miles of Wayne, PA resume must clearly indicate location
  • Monday- Friday, 8AM-5PM 
    • Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite required
    • 2–4 days onsite during onboarding (first 1–2 months)
  • Interview Process: 3 rounds (virtual) – Hiring Manager, Panel, Final
What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead full-cycle payroll operations for 500–700 U.S. and Canadian employees.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across federal, state/provincial, and local jurisdictions.
  • Manage payroll schedules, reconciliations, and reporting cycles.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and external vendors to ensure data integrity and seamless integration.
  • Maintain current knowledge of payroll legislation and tax laws in both countries.
  • Ensure compliance with audits, filings, and remittances (IRS, CRA, etc.).
  • Implement internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a payroll team of 2–3 direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Promote cross-training and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leverage automation and technology to streamline operations.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure operational excellence.
  • Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries and escalations.
  • Provide strategic insights and reporting to senior leadership.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field; CPP or PCP certification preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive payroll experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in high-volume payroll processing and tax compliance for both U.S. and Canada.
  • Strong understanding of payroll systems and HRIS integrations.
  • Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP GlobalView.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud for payroll data management and reporting.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Strategic, collaborative, and proactive leader with strong communication skills.
Estimated Min Rate: $77000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $110000.00
