Patient Safety Call Center Agent
Primary Duties : Responsible for receiving inbound and initiating outbound phone calls to patients, caregiver and healthcare professionals on behalf of the Client.’s (NNI) Patient Safety, regarding their adverse event experience.  Responsible for the receipt, documentation, and quality check of inbound safety information documentation resulting from the phone handling, including adverse events and technical complaints, for NNI US marketed products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receive inbound and make outbound calls for adverse events and technical complaints including handling of refund and replacement request on behalf of Patient Safety.
  • Document adverse event calls and associated technical complaints related to marketed NNI products into the local intake database. Tasks can include, but not limited to, duplicate searches, product coding, MedDRA coding, and narrative generation.
  • Collect and document information received during inbound and outbound calls to obtain follow-up information for adverse event calls.
  • Perform call monitoring for Patient Safety calls and provide feedback to team members.
  • Answer phone professionally and expeditiously.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Research required information using available resources.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (health care provider required) or relative experience as an HCP with a BS.
  • 2 years minimum experience in call center and or customer service supporting patients and healthcare professionals.
  • 2 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically pharmacovigilance preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience with safety database use preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
