Partnerships Manager - Agentic Economy
San Francisco, CA (hybrid 4 days in office)
ABOUT CLIENT
Every business in America needs a bank account to exist. The system that decides whether they're real, who's behind them, and whether they're a risk, runs on infrastructure from the 1980s. We're rebuilding that layer from scratch.
Client is the identity layer for institutions across the United States — the most complete business graph in America and every human tied to it. We fuse public records, IRS data, sanctions lists, web signals, and fraud telemetry from 2,200+ financial institutions into a single graph that resolves any business and the humans behind it in milliseconds. The legacy credit bureaus took 50 years to build something that gets 60% match rates. We've built something that gets 98% in under two years.
Today we're trusted by over 20% of financial institutions in America — including FIS, Rho, Socure and leading loan infrastructure providers. But the graph is becoming infrastructure for anyone who needs to know if a business is real and worth trusting: gig platforms, marketplaces, AI companies, and commerce infrastructure at scale. Trust is the substrate of every financial transaction. We're rebuilding it.
ABOUT THE TEAM
AI agents are starting to transact: opening accounts, buying services, moving money on behalf of the businesses and people behind them. Every one of those transactions has a counterparty asking the question banks have always asked: who am I dealing with, and can I trust them? Today's identity infrastructure wasn't built to answer it at agent speed. The Agentic Economy team is extending Client's business graph into the trust layer for agentic commerce: verifiable credentials that bind an agent to the verified business and human behind it, a registry counterparties can query in real time, and verification APIs that plug into the networks, platforms, and protocols where agent transactions happen. We run like a startup inside a startup: a small senior team led by our GM of Agentic Economy, working directly with payment networks, banks, wallet providers, and agent platforms. The category is being defined right now; the standards, seats, and infrastructure decisions of the next 18 months will be consequential for a decade.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The agentic economy is being assembled through partnerships: payment networks, banks, agent builders, wallet and platform providers, standards bodies. Our team already holds more live partner threads than one person can carry.
Your job is to compound existing momentum: drive outreach across our target segments, run partner relationships day to day, and represent our GM in the room when she can't be in it. This is a high-trust seat. You'll manage conversations with some of the largest financial institutions in the world, and the follow-through — briefs, materials, commitments, pipeline — has to be immaculate. You will turn strong relationships into repeatable growth channels by sourcing, structuring, launching, and expanding partnerships across our ecosystem. This role is highly cross-functional and execution-oriented. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Solutions, and Marketing to drive partner enablement and measurable pipeline and revenue impact. You will be working with best-in-class partners and will have a meaningful opportunity to build a high-leverage growth channel at Client.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive outbound and manage relationships across our partner ICPs: payment networks, financial institutions, agent builders, wallet providers, and platforms deploying agents for their own customers
- Own and scale strategic partnerships end-to-end, from sourcing and structuring to activation, enablement, and long-term growth
- Run partner threads end to end: agendas, briefs, follow-ups, NDAs, materials, and internal alignment before and after every meeting
- Represent the GM in partner meetings: hold the strategy line, take positions, and make commitments that create forward momentum
- Embed yourself in partner workflows through joint GTM calls, regular touchpoints, and co-hosted events to keep client top of mind
- Maintain rigorous pipeline and partner tracking in HubSpot, including partner-sourced opportunities, deal stages, activity, and next steps
- Build repeatable partner playbooks and enablement assets: concept briefs, one-pagers, meeting prep, collateral, and co-marketing campaigns
- Drive internal alignment across stakeholders, manage timelines, and execute launches without requiring heavy oversight
- Gather partner and customer feedback and work with Product, Solutions, and Engineering to incorporate it into product and process improvements
- 5+ years in partnerships or business development at fintech, payments, identity, or data infrastructure companies
- Experience managing enterprise partners (banks, networks, processors, platforms) and know how to navigate their org charts and timelines
- Strong operational skills to manage end-to-end execution, align stakeholders, and keep complex projects moving
- Experience managing pipeline, partner activity, and reporting in HubSpot or a similar CRM
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable in technical conversations about APIs, credentials, and integration models
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, changing priorities, and building structure where none exists
- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives from 0 to 1 and scale them into repeatable processes
- Existing relationships in the payments or identity ecosystem
- Experience with standards bodies or industry working groups
- Motivated by ownership and excited to build from 0 to 100
