Part-Time Medical Assistant (T/W/Th)

Occupational Health Medical Assistant  needed for a part-time, 24 hr/week contract opportunity with Yoh’s well-known client located in Foster City, CA. Potential for temp-to-hire!!

This is located at a smaller clinic that offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. You'll be assisting the healthcare team with covering both front and back office until at least the end of March with potential of extension/temp-to-hire.
--> SHIFTS: Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm
 

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA)
• Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player
• Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee
• Previous experience with Quest Diagnostic's program, Quanum, very helpful!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Greet patients and check them in/out
• Phlebotomy, injections, and perform laboratory tests
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Maintain employee health records (using EPIC)
• Room patients and conduct vitals
• First-aid support (ie applying dressings)
• Maintain and order supplies

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted)
• Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFERON Gold test
• Must be confident with front and back office responsibilities
• Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking
• Proof of US Citizenship (ie valid US Passport or original US Birth Certificate) for security clearance/badging
