Position: Operations Support Specialist (Contract) Overview This is a 3-month contract position, with potential for extension, providing essential support across IT services, facilities management, fleet operations, event coordination, and volunteer engagement. The role ensures smooth operational processes, compliance with organizational standards, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Pay Rate:$25.42 per hour

Key Responsibilities 1. IT Services

  • Utilize appropriate systems to manage technology needs.
  • Troubleshoot phone and computer issues for the region.
  • Review and assist with technical service requests.
2. Facilities & Asset Management

  • Ensure repairs are completed within budget and processed through the correct systems.
  • Obtain proposals for potential new vendors and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Act as liaison with other sectors for shared facilities and assets.
3. Fleet Management

  • Maintain accurate fleet inventory records.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate vehicle maintenance.
  • Serve as liaison with Fleet Management teams in other sectors.
4. Event Support

  • Participate in event planning meetings and assist with logistics as needed.
5. Operations SOPs

  • Support consistent processes and procedures related to regional operations functions.
6. Volunteer Coordination

  • Coordinate and train volunteers to assist with routine tasks such as data entry and clerical support.
Qualifications Education

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or Public Administration required.
  • Applicable experience may substitute for education requirement but must be in addition to required years of experience.
Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of financial or facilities administrative support experience in community organizations, government agencies, non-profits, or business settings.
  • Experience working effectively with volunteers and board members.
  • Substantial volunteer experience may be considered.
Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work to maximize team performance and meet customer expectations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
Technical Proficiency

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
