Operations Project Lead – Capital Markets (Contract)
📍  Location:  New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)
📅  Duration:  5 months (Sept 1 – Jan 31)
🕘  Hours:  Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hrs/week, possible OT)
🔁  Extension/Conversion:  Possible

A high-visibility regulatory initiative is underway requiring daily reserve computations for broker-dealers with average total credits of $500M+. This role supports the implementation of new SEC Rule 15c3-3 requirements, transitioning from weekly to daily reserve calculations.

As the Operations Project Lead, you’ll oversee project milestones, testing, and solution deployment. You’ll collaborate across departments to streamline manual processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a detailed project plan with defined scope and deliverables
• Identify automation opportunities in legacy processes
• Coordinate testing and validation of proposed solutions
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership
• Drive process improvements and ensure quality standards are met

Required Skills:

• 5+ years as an Operations Lead or Project Manager in Capital Markets
• Strong understanding of U.S. capital markets regulations
• Advanced Excel proficiency

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Axiom, Broadridge BPS, TLM, DUCO

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Creative problem-solving and attention to detail

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferred)
