Yoh has an   immediate, 4 month contract  opportunity, as an  Office Support-Facilities & Receptionist  within the Insurance industry   to jour client,  Onsite, to report to their office in  Chicago, IL/Union Station Area

  • Max Hourly Rate $25/hr.
  • Part time, Tues-Thursday, 7:30AM-4:30PM
  • 1+ years exp. Office Assistant/Receptionist/Admin
What You Will Be Doing
  • Stationed at the front desk / lobby.  Great all visitors and sign them in per Physical Security Policy.
  • Understand the corporate image and professional standards for reception.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy work environment consistently.
  • Prioritize face-to-face customer service for visitors in the reception area.
  • Assist with booking meeting rooms and catering requests efficiently.
  • Take ownership of enquiries inbox and ensure timely responses.
  • Report faults or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate catering calendars for meeting requirements.
  • Develop an understanding of the business structure and share knowledge with others.
  • Facilitate access card management and basic onboarding for new starters.
  • Maintain inventory levels for all stationery, batteries, and kitchen consumables.
  • Liaise with key suppliers and contractors for office maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Intermediate Excel, Power Point skills to assist with data collection (Sustainability, Office Utilization, Department Metrics)
Who You Are
  • HS Diploma/GED required, Degree preferred
  • Professional and polished demeanor, representing the corporate image at all times
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on face-to-face interactions
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, maintaining a clean and safe reception area
  • Ability to manage meeting room bookings and catering requests efficiently
  • Skilled in handling inquiries and responding promptly via email
  • Proactive in reporting faults and coordinating maintenance issues
  • Familiarity with access card management and basic onboarding processes
  • Inventory management experience for office supplies and consumables
  • Comfortable liaising with suppliers and contractors for office upkeep
  • Knowledge of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data collection and reporting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an understanding of business structure
