Occupational Health Nurse

Occupational Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  needed for a  contract (potential temp-to-hire)  opportunity with Yoh’s well-known   client located in Ferndale, WA.

This clinic consists of one provider and one Nurse providing occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. You'll be the go-to Nurse in a small, fast-paced clinic, helping with front and back office responsibilities. 
--> SHIFTS:  Monday-Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm starting ASAP until further notice. Potential for temp-to-hire for the right candidate!!


Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in state of Washington
• Prior experience in: Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Corrections, School Nursing, or Primary Care type setting
• Prior experience performing drug screens and audiograms a huge plus!
• Good administrative and computer skills (ie EMR and Microsoft Office)
• Professional, dedicated, friendly, adaptable, and helpful employee

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Triage and provide nursing services or arrange for higher level of care to employees who become ill or suffer a workplace injury
• Support Third-Party Administrators (TPA) in managing disability cases
• Management of clinic supplies and equipment
• Perform audiograms, phlebotomy, drug testing, pulmonary function tests, glucose monitoring, and cholesterol screening
• Perform comprehensive wellness exams including patient education
• Perform return-to-work, fitness-for-duty exams, and assessments that may include telehealth consultations
• Provide emergency medical care including first-aid and triage for additional evaluation or referral

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Must be confident with blood draws
• BLS/CPR certified
• Confidence and autonomy in managing patient care, triage, and documentation with minimal supervision
• Adaptability and quick learning skills - able to pick up workflows, systems, and protocols efficiently
