Occupational Health Nurse

Occupational Health Nurse (RN) needed for a part-time contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Reno, NV!
 
Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Experience in an ER, Urgent Care, Primary Care, or Occupational Health setting

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide professional nursing care to employees who are sick or injured
• Perform and interpret various clinical and diagnostic tests
• Assist the onsite physician with minor surgical procedures
• Conduct employee interviews and document medical histories
• Collaborate effectively with Health Services and other departments
• Maintain accurate medical records to ensure OSHA and Workers' Compensation compliance
• Perform and document physical exams
• Support plant wellness programs and health promotion initiatives
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment
• Deliver services in a professional, knowledgeable, and customer-oriented manner
• Shift time: two 8-hour shifts per week (flexibility on which days are worked)

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Active and unrestricted Nevada RN license
• RN Diploma or Associates Degree required; BSN or BS preferred
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred (Occupational Health or Emergency Room experience a plus)
• COHN certification preferred
• Proficient in electronic medical records and basic computer applications
• Strong analytical thinking, independent decision-making, and excellent communication skills
