needed for a full-time contract
opportunity with Yoh’s well-known manufacturing client located in Arlington, Texas.
3rd shift – Sunday-Thursday: 10p-6:30a
OR
2nd shift - Monday Friday: 2p-10:30p
This clinic offers occupational and preventative care for employees onsite. You will oversee and provide direct patient care and treatment, perform medical examinations, integrate with the local business, support the site emergency response program, and promote health and well-being.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Active/unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (FNP or ANP) license in state of Texas
- Current prescription authority and DEA
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a provider in an Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Corrections, and/or Family Practice type setting
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Treat minor work-related and non-work related injuries and illnesses for employees onsite
- Perform onsite physical assessments (pre-placement, return-to-work, fitness-for-duty)
- Dispense over the counter and prescription medications in accordance with pre-established standing orders to employees with minor work-related and non-work related concerns (back pain, headache, pharyngitis, etc)
- Provide support and case management for both work-related and non-work-related conditions for the purposes of reducing illness and absenteeism
- Provide onsite testing for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia
- Promote wellness/wellbeing initiatives at the site
- Respond to emergencies on the campus as needed
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Current BLS
- National Certification
- Computer skills with previous experience using EMR
- Interpersonal skills necessary to interview, teach and counsel patients and interact with clients/employers
