Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner needed for a contract Job opportunity with one of Yoh’s prodigious clients located in Macungie, PA.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver comprehensive on-site medical assessments, triage, and treatment for work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Dispense medications and provide specimen collection, drug screening, and alcohol testing per established protocols.
  • Collaborate with employees, primary care providers, and specialists to facilitate early diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
  • Educate employees on health, safety, and wellness, coordinating seminars and wellness events.
  • Manage workers’ compensation cases and support injury prevention initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed medical records, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and uphold clinic protocols.
  • Work closely with corporate teams to expand services and promote a culture of health and safety.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current licensure and certification by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing or Physicians.
  • National Board Certification.
  • At least 2 years of adult medicine experience.
  • Strong clinical evaluation, patient education, and case management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine, Workers’ Compensation, or DOT exams.
  • Certifications such as DOT Medical Examiner, Urine Drug Screen Collector, or Breath Alcohol Technician.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • Previous experience in occupational health settings or corporate health clinics.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to workplace health.
 
Additional Requirements:
  • Certifications in DOT exams, drug screening, or alcohol testing are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate professionalism, and uphold clinical standards.
