Motion Designer (HYBRID)

Motion Designer (HYBRID) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s client working in New York, New York .

• Pay Rate: $35-43/hr
• HYBRID-flexible onsite/remote schedule

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Client is the world’s premier media and entertainment company with a portfolio of content, brands and franchises across television, film, streaming and gaming.
• The Designer, Print / Digital position is responsible for the day-to-day design production of unique and creative design solutions that serve the company's strategic needs while maintaining brand consistency. The candidate will work closely with the VP of Brand Creative, Sr. Art Director, Sr. Designers and Social/Digital producers.
• Work with Sr. Designers and VP of Brand Creative to supply fresh ideas for digital/print materials while maintaining the network brand
• Inform and consult on talent photo shoots, with an eye for how changes on set impact the overall design and execution of the project
• Design print collateral for events and out-of-home execution

• Design and execute high quality key art for use across all digital platforms.
• Design show logos and branding for new shows
• Concept and execution of digital design, including social media friendly layouts
• Must have strong communication and presentation skills.
• Must be able to conceptualize and implement concepts ensuring design is in sync with the networks brand guidelines
• Work closely with the Photography Department to develop ideas, manage and maintain the network brand.
• Work closely with the Print Production Manager to keep all projects on time and on budget
• Design On-Air IPMs
• Assist in designing marketing presentations and slides (as needed)

Required:

• Candidates applying must have a strong design sense and show natural ability in working with layout, type and logo design. They must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment under tight deadlines.
• Experience in Entertainment, Media, or Streaming Brand
• BFA in Graphic Design and Advertising and 3+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with Motion Design
• Examples of Key Art and Motion Graphic Design in Portfolio.
• Excellent grasp of great design and the ability to stretch creatively with each new project, while keeping in mind company objectives and strategic goals
• Strong typography sense is a must
• Conceptual thinker, Detail-oriented, Ability to work independently, as well in a team situation and with clients, working under pressure, and juggling multiple projects
• Knowledge of prepress layout & print production
• Expert knowledge of all current graphic software including Adobe CC Suite, as well as Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint
