About the Role:
We are seeking a highly self-driven Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong understanding of ophthalmology practices, retinal data, and healthcare/pharma analytics (excluding insurance). This hybrid role combines BSA responsibilities with aspects of a Product Owner, requiring independent engagement with sales teams and possibly external customers.

As a mid-level professional, you will report to a senior leader who has in-depth knowledge of the product and its development. You’ll be expected to take initiative, proactively ask questions, generate ideas, and work autonomously rather than waiting for direction.

Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Queries: Conduct thorough data research, run queries, and derive actionable insights.

Industry Expertise: Utilize knowledge of retinal data and ophthalmology offices to assess business needs.

Stakeholder Engagement: Independently manage conversations with sales teams and external customers when needed.

Strategic Input: Provide feedback and direction based on market trends and product use cases.

Healthcare & Pharma Research: If lacking retinal experience, conduct deep research on drug usage in the healthcare/pharma market.

Qualifications:
3+ years of BA/BSA experience
Experience in retinal ophthalmology, healthcare, or pharmaceutical data analysis.
Strong knowledge of how ophthalmology offices operate.
Proven ability to run queries and analyze medical data.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated and proactive; comfortable working in a new role with evolving processes.

Estimated Min Rate: $55.00
Estimated Max Rate: $65.00
