Medical Assistant needed for a temp to hire opportunity with Yoh’s well-known client located in Phoenix, AZ 85085.

Busy clinic that offers Occupational, Primary, and Preventative Care for employees onsite and their families.

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills
• Knowledge & experience with EMR Epic preferred
• Minimum of two-three (2-3) years’ experience as a Medical Assistant

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
• Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
• Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
• Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
• Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients
• Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk
• May require other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Available to work: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. 
• Must be professional and have a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong computer skills needed
