Medical Assistant (certified)

Medical Assistant, needed for a part-time contract  opportunity for with Yoh’s client located in Beavercreek, OH

• This position is for our front desk, but will also support clinically
• Must have strong phlebotomy skills 

  What You’ll Do

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Medication administration including injections, perform laboratory tests, operating EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
• Perform administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

  What You’ll Bring 

• National certification in Medical Assisting from an approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not accepted
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
