Materials Coordinator - Ordering Specialist
Scope:
• Process high-volume orders accurately and efficiently using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other software tools like SAP, Reynolds and Reynolds, and Lightspeed.
• Manage the end-to-end order fulfillment process for aftermarket parts and services, from order entry to delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering) and external partners to confirm order details and provide updates.
• Handle merchandise by receiving, unpacking, checking, and verifying products to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize handheld RF tools to receive items into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Pick and pack parts for order fulfillment and shipments.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to support physical inventory.
• Generate reports on order status, fulfillment rates, and potential bottlenecks to identify areas for improvement.
• Address and resolve order-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all orders, communications, and resolutions.
• Fill requisitions and work orders, distributing items to technicians or assembly lines.
Required:
• 2+ years of experience in order management, customer service, or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing, automotive, or technology company.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), strong data entry skills, and expertise with warehouse ERP inventory systems.
• Experience in the automotive industry and comfort working around technicians.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience putting together spreadsheets and tables, and proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Experience with basic supply chain skills.
Estimated Min Rate: $25.00
Estimated Max Rate: $30.00+ USD (Depends on experience)
