Material Handler

Position Title:  Warehouse Associate
Shift:  1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 12-Hour Rotating Schedule (2–2–3)
Pay Rate:  $17.00/hour
Job Type:  Contract (Strong potential for contract-to-hire)
Industry:  Medical Device Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and deliver direct materials to Manufacturing and Packaging Lines.
• Process Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) to the Distribution Center.
• Transport materials to storage areas using equipment and following SOPs.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GMP standards in all warehouse operations.
• Receive goods accurately, verify shipments, and inspect item conditions.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain proper material flow in manufacturing areas according to guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Monitor space utilization and support efficient storage practices.
• Perform data entry, cycle counts, and forklift battery maintenance.
• Identify and reduce safety risks in compliance with HSE policies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse and forklift experience

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and ramps
• Must wear PPE correctly throughout the shift
• Ability to operate heavy machinery
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
