Material Handler

Yoh Scientific is actively recruiting for a Material Handler to work a contract assignment located in Richmond, CA at a molecular diagnostics manufacturer. 

Schedule:  M-F, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Some overtime may be needed. 
Duration:  6-month contract with possibility of extension or conversion
Pay Rate Range: $18 - $19/hour. 
Attire: Must wear steel toed shoes.

Responsibilities
The Material Handler position will include a variety of warehousing tasks and operational functions. Picking order accurately, packing shipment neatly, working in cold room environments.
Supporting all areas of operations as directed.
 
Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Related 0 - 2 years of shipping/receiving experience within a warehouse facility.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills in applicable programs; use of rRF scanning device.
• Self-motivated to get the job done right the first time.
• Basic problem-solving skills, good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work While being flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to lift 50 lb items.
