Material Handler - Administrative Support

Job Title: Material Handler
Location:  Hazelwood Missouri
Hours:  8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Some overtime required)
Pay Rate:$16.50/Hr.

Position Summary:
We have a contract opportunity for a Material Handler in Hazelwood. This position has a good possibility of being hired directly by the customer. We need someone with good writing skills communicating with internal and external customers. This role is essential to ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of materials, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and data entry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and understanding of computers and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with GMP standards in shipping, receiving, and the warehouse.
• Move materials to storage areas using equipment.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Perform data entry, cycle counts, and inventory control.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification and experience required.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and order pickers.
• Computer skills Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & SAP a plus
• Comfortable working on ladders and standing for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., and work in varying temperature conditions.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Able to work in warehouse conditions involving standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires mental alertness, attention to detail, and to work under pressure.
• Overtime may be required based on needs.

Estimated Min Rate: $16.50
Estimated Max Rate: $16.50
