MANURACTURING TECHNICIAN GLOUCESTER, MA

Job Title:  Manufacturing Technician Location: Gloucester, MA – Main Building
Schedule:  Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range:  $22.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused  Manufacturing Technician  to join our team. This hands-on role involves building, testing, and repairing electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams, using test equipment, and working in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test electrical and mechanical components using schematics, wiring diagrams, and work orders.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on subassemblies and systems.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
• Enter work progress and labor details into computer systems.
• Inspect incoming parts and perform audits to ensure readiness for assembly and testing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents promptly.
• Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to cleanroom procedures when required.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions (standing, bending, lifting, etc.).
• Ability to distinguish between colors and work in noisy environments.
• Willingness to wear PPE including coveralls, gloves, safety glasses, and respirators.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
