Manufacturing Inspector

Manufacturing Inspector  needed for a  contract  opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Niles, IL.
The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one (1) year experience as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector in an ISO certified manufacturing facility.
• Experience using measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers) to ensure compliance with specifications
• Must be able to stand 4 – 6 hours daily, carry up to 40lbs and successful pass a color deficiency test.
• Pay Range: $18 - $19/hr; depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct material/product inspections including incoming, process, first piece, supplemental and final inspections.
• Measure and record material/product accurately using calibrated measuring equipment
• Control of non-confirming material/product
• Maintain material/product traceability and documentation
• Ensure tools, gauges, instruments and other measuring and testing equipment are calibrated. 

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one (1) year experience as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector in an ISO certified manufacturing facility.
• Experience using measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers) to ensure compliance with specifications
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Proficient in all areas of quality inspection
• Able to visually recognize and measure particulate as small as 0.8 sq. mm.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:          

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
