Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Complex Systems & Process Improvement
Location: Texarkana, TX (Onsite Required, M-Thurs workweek)
Employment Type: Direct Hire

About the Opportunity:
A highly specialized manufacturer in the Texarkana area is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead complex, high-impact engineering projects across design, testing, and process optimization.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment and have experience owning projects from concept through production. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to develop solutions that enhance quality, safety, and throughput for mission-critical systems.

U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
Candidates must be local to Texarkana or willing to relocate.
Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and validate test equipment, tooling, and mechanical/electronic structures for product verification.
• Review, approve, and troubleshoot engineering documentation and test systems for high-precision components.
• Serve as the lead engineer for supplier activities to ensure specification compliance.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives (Time Studies, TPM, DOE, Value Stream Mapping).
• Own project delivery — from initial concept through budgeting, prototyping, and full-scale production.
• Drive continuous improvement and collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment (high-precision, defense, or highly regulated sectors preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering on-time, to spec, and on budget.
• Expertise in process design, tooling, testing, and supplier oversight.
• Proficiency with engineering software: AutoCAD, 3D modeling tools, SAP, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Able to interpret and produce technical drawings, write procedures, and communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Willingness to relocate to Texarkana, TX
