Manager of IT Infrastructure & Security-Azure

Must be local willing to come in on an as needed basis (1 time a week or less)
** Must have strong SIEM, CASB, and SASE experience

We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Senior Manager, Systems Engineer to lead our IT infrastructure operations and team. This role is responsible for overseeing on-prem and cloud (Azure) environments, driving system reliability, performance, and security while acting as a thought partner to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Azure cloud services, firewalls, network hardware, servers, and end-user connectivity.
• Lead infrastructure team (Network Admins, Helpdesk, Security Analysts).
• Oversee Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows servers/desktops, network switching/routing, and firewalls (SonicWall, Azure Gateway).
• Implement and manage network security, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Act as Tier III escalation and incident responder for threats and performance issues.
• Maintain patch management, system documentation, and compliance.
• Support strategic IT initiatives and mentor technical staff.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of Azure and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Strong expertise in cloud and network security (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, SSL).
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, endpoint protection tools.
• Leadership and mentoring skills in IT infrastructure environments.
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Preferred certifications: Azure AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-400.
