Maintenance Mechanic

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in  Philadelphia PA.

The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess:

• 5 + years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing facility or chemical/food/pharmaceutical plant
• Must have experience with maintenance and repair duties including the adjustment and alignment of all types of pumps, fluid machinery, valves, pneumatic systems, steam systems, solid material processing and handling equipment, filling and packaging machinery
• High School Diploma or GED
• Paying  $26.45 - $32.44 per hour; depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for performing emergency repairs, preventative maintenance tasks and scheduled activities
• Utilizing your strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and correcting issues and emergencies
• Assisting the facility manager regarding contractor operations to ensure they meet standards and expectations
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing processing machinery including distillation columns, pressurized reactors, mixing kettles, control systems, packaging equipment, physical structures, piping, and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• 5 + years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing facility or chemical/food/pharmaceutical plant
• High School Diploma or GED
