Company Health & Wellness Licensed Vocational Nurse needed for a  full-time contract  opportunity with Yoh’s employee health client located in Frisco, TX.   Potential for temp-to-hire!
 

The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. Anticipating job to start ASAP and proceed at least through August. Potential for extension and/or temp-to-hire for the right fit.
--> Must be able to work full-time, Mon/Wed/Fri 7:30am to 5:00pm and Tues/Thurs 6:00am to 3:30pm (lunch taken from 12pm to 1pm).


Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in state of Texas
• Preferred experience in: Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections type setting
• Must be confident with venipuncture
• Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Room patients and take vitals
• Assist providers with ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
• Provide wellness materials/information
• Provide medical testing such as EKGs, pulmonary function, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.
• Charting using EPIC
• If needed, may assist with administrative tasks such as: filing, data entry, scanning, stocking rooms, etc.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Prior experience using electronic medical records (EPIC experience a huge plus!)
• Flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• BLS certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted)
• TB (PPD) test from within the last year (or must be willing to obtain upon being offered the position)
• Professional, dedicated, and helpful employee
