Logistics Coordinator

Contract Opportunity: Logistics Associate – Hazelwood, MO
Pay Rate:  $20.50/hour
Duration:  6 months (with potential for extension and possible direct hire by the client)
Industry:  World-leading diagnostic medical device company

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented  Logistics Associate  to support supply chain operations in Hazelwood, Missouri. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials from suppliers and warehouses to production lines and worksites. You’ll be working with a global leader in diagnostic medical devices, contributing to life-saving healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the supply chain to prevent delays and material shortages.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and status updates to optimize material movement.
• Utilize ERP systems to order, receive, ship, and store parts, ensuring records are up to date.
• Ensure required stock levels are maintained to support ongoing operations.
• Process purchase requisitions for necessary parts and materials.
• Track shipments, confirm carrier rates, consolidate loads, and select cost-effective transportation methods.
• Act as a liaison between quality, engineering, customer service, production control, and manufacturing teams to identify and address potential bottlenecks.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Estimated Min Rate: $20.50
Estimated Max Rate: $20.50
