Linux BSP Engineer

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Linux BSP Engineer to support the integration and debugging of supplier-delivered BSPs for automotive ECUs and domain controllers. This role is critical in hardware bring-up and ensuring stable operation across in-vehicle platforms like IVI and ADAS.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and debug Linux BSPs from third-party vendors
  • Perform board bring-up, kernel tuning, and driver troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to validate functionality
  • Ensure performance and quality standards are met for production readiness

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years in embedded Linux/BSP development
  • Strong knowledge of Linux kernel, bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot), and device trees
  • Experience with driver integration (CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO)
  • Familiarity with JTAG, GDB, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes
  • Experience working with BSPs from NXP, Renesas, Qualcomm, or TI
  • Scripting in Python or Bash

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Yocto build systems
  • Background in functional safety (ISO 26262), AUTOSAR, or ASPICE
  • Familiarity with IVI, ADAS, or other automotive platforms
  • Knowledge of Git, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines


Estimated Min Rate: $80.00
Estimated Max Rate: $100.00
