Linux BSP Engineer
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Linux BSP Engineer to support the integration and debugging of supplier-delivered BSPs for automotive ECUs and domain controllers. This role is critical in hardware bring-up and ensuring stable operation across in-vehicle platforms like IVI and ADAS.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate and debug Linux BSPs from third-party vendors
- Perform board bring-up, kernel tuning, and driver troubleshooting
- Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to validate functionality
- Ensure performance and quality standards are met for production readiness
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in embedded Linux/BSP development
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel, bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot), and device trees
- Experience with driver integration (CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO)
- Familiarity with JTAG, GDB, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes
- Experience working with BSPs from NXP, Renesas, Qualcomm, or TI
- Scripting in Python or Bash
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Yocto build systems
- Background in functional safety (ISO 26262), AUTOSAR, or ASPICE
- Familiarity with IVI, ADAS, or other automotive platforms
- Knowledge of Git, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
Estimated Min Rate: $80.00
Estimated Max Rate: $100.00
