Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse  needed for a  contract  opportunity with Yoh’s client located in  Carrollton, GA. This LPN will work with four providers to provide chronic and acute care to children and adults.

Schedule:  Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Duration:  6 week contract with possibility of extension or direct placement
Pay: $25-35/hr DOE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse
• Current hands on Certification in Basic Life Support is required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on scope of contract services.
• 3+ years of clinical experience as a LPN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.
• Epic experience is a plus
