Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Job Functions
- Lead daily assembly line activities and oversee team members working on assigned production lines.
- Set up production lines and maintain proper workflow throughout the shift.
- Perform hands-on assembly and packaging of medical devices and related components.
- Independently package and assemble parts and components, perform sealing operations, and operate production equipment with limited or no supervision.
- Train and provide guidance to other Assemblers within the assigned work center.
- Ensure cleanroom and production area cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.
- Perform routine cleaning of packaging equipment and manufacturing areas.
- Periodically clean, assemble, and disassemble packaging machinery.
- Ensure Good Documentation Practices (GDP) requirements are followed and production documentation is completed accurately.
- Complete required transactions within the ERP system.
- Read, understand, and follow Manufacturing Outlines (MOs), Engineering Work Orders, and Rework Orders.
- Follow written instructions for production startup, assembly activities, batch completion, work orders, in-process testing, batch records, and applicable SOPs.
- Follow SOPs and manuals related to safety, material safety information, packaging, cleaning, and the assembly/disassembly of machinery.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations required to support completion of packaging batches.
- Meet established project deadlines and performance standards.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and regulations.
- Understand and adhere to the company's Quality Policy.
- Previous experience performing assembly and/or packaging activities in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with medical devices and/or within a cleanroom manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead an assembly line and provide training to other team members.
- Must be proficient with computers and comfortable completing transactions within an ERP system.
- Must be able to thoroughly read and understand Manufacturing Outlines (MOs).
- Ability to understand and follow Engineering Work Orders, Rework Orders, batch records, written work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to work independently and perform assembly, packaging, sealing, and equipment operation with limited or no supervision.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate production documentation.
- Ability to meet production deadlines and established performance standards.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Second-shift, onsite cleanroom and manufacturing environment.
- Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, and use hands to assemble, package, and handle medical device components.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly and packaging activities throughout the assigned shift.
- Ability to operate, clean, assemble, and disassemble packaging equipment and machinery.
- Must be able to follow applicable cleanroom gowning, cleanliness, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
Estimated Min Rate: $22.00
