Laboratory Technician III

Yoh is hiring a Laboratory Technician III for our Santa Fe Springs client. In the Lab Technician III  role you will be focused on  sampling, testing, measuring, recording and analyzing results.  They are seeking a highly motivated and independent technician with a strong background LAL and Bioburden Testing to join the team. This position will also provide all the required technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively, while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.

Compensation: $25/hr - $30/hr

Job Functions

• Calibration of laboratory test equipment
• Maintain maintenance records for equipment
• Run steam sterilization
• Perform Environmental Monitoring of cleanroom Mix chemicals
• Prepare loads for EO sterilization
• Perform package Visual, Seal Strength, and Integrity Testing
• Test medical devices for Total Organic Carbon (TOC), pH, Optical Density (OD),
• Osmolality, Viscosity, Bioburden and Bacterial Endotoxin (BET)
• Daily QC checks of in-process batch mixing and passivation chemistry
• Send product samples to outside labs
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations
• Understands PRO-TECH's Quality Policy statement

Education, Licensure and/or Experience

• B.S. in a Science discipline
• 2 - 3 years lab experience in nutraceuticals, med device, or pharmaceutical industry
• Microbiological, Bioburden, and/or Analytical testing experience required

Estimated Min Rate: $25.00/hr.
Estimated Max Rate: $30.00/hr.
