Laboratory Technician - GC Method Development

6 month W2 CONTRACT TO HIRE
Pay rate: $24-27/hr - Depending on Education and Experience


REQUIRED- BS in Chemistry and preferably with 1-5 years of industry experience, or fresh MS in
chemistry .

Experiences with instrument analysis, and sample preparation.
Experiences in flavor fragrance analysis is a plus.
Familiarization with Agilent OpenLAB and ChemStation HPLC & GC Software.

Primary activities include execution of technical work under general supervision of senior technical staff. This will include carrying out chromatography sample preparation and testing as well as basic method development in GC.

Responsibilities:
30% Sample prep
30% Setup and execute experiments
25% Analyze data
10% Follow safe laboratory practices and keep areas clean
5% Participate in Department meetings and other R&D facility activities.

Familiarization with Agilent OpenLAB and ChemStation HPLC & GC Software.
