Lab Technician

Yoh has an immediate, 12-month contract opportunity for a Lab Technician within the utilities industry to join our client onsite at their Belleville, IL location.

• Max Hourly Rate:  $20/hr
• Schedule:  Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, onsite

What You Will Be Doing

• Assist the chemistry and/or administrative team with various lab support tasks.
• Prepare sample kits, aliquot water samples, and perform basic chemistry procedures.
• Conduct safety checks and manage disposal and preservation of lab materials.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and restock supplies as needed.
• Support general lab operations and ensure a clean, organized work environment.

Who You Are

• Comfortable working in a laboratory setting and following detailed instructions.
• A self-starter who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Possess basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks and contribute to team success.
