Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT systems and endpoint management team.
- Define and drive endpoint lifecycle strategies (provisioning, patching, upgrades, decommissioning).
- Align system and endpoint initiatives with broader IT and business goals.
- Administer endpoint management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune) to ensure secure and consistent configurations.
- Manage enterprise operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and mobile device environments.
- Implement patch management, vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Support enterprise applications including Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and on-premises infrastructure.
- Establish system health monitoring, performance reporting, and analytics for endpoints.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Partner with information security to ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
- Identify opportunities for automation to drive efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Lead endpoint refresh cycles, system upgrades, and related infrastructure projects.
- Manage vendor relationships, tool licensing, and contract negotiations.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve endpoint performance and security posture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience with focus on systems and endpoint management.
- Minimum 2–3 years in a technical leadership or management role.
- Expertise with enterprise endpoint management platforms (Microsoft Intune).
- In-depth knowledge of Windows, macOS, mobile OS, and enterprise application environments.
- Experience with patching, compliance frameworks, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, MCSA/MCSE, ITIL, or CISSP.
- Experience with hybrid environments (Azure + on-prem).
- Automation/scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, configuration management tools).
