The IT Support Intern is responsible for the daily support of user endpoints, desk phones, cellphones, phone apps for business users, camera systems, physical CAT5e/CAT6 wiring, WiFi, business application administration, and other similar duties in an innovative IT environment.  This is an hourly full-time internship located in our Kansas City, Missouri office.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Process internal user support tickets and provides resolutions
•    Provide in-person and remote computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
•    Create documentation for repeatable processes and procedures where appropriate
•    Assist with administration of SaaS applications
•    Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors 
•    Assist with physical network wiring and termination in office locations
•    Assist with New Hire and Termination processing
•    Assist with Microsoft Intune and MDM platform(s)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

•    High School Diploma or equivalent required  
•    COMPTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred
•    Desktop support or other related experience
•    Understanding of VMWARE and virtualized server systems
•    Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
•    Familiar with printer hardware & Microsoft print services
•    Knowledge of Office 365 and Azure environments including InTune, Defender, Entra ID, etc.
•    Group Policy, Active Directory knowledge and practice 
•    Ability to quickly write reports, user instructions, and procedure manuals

•    Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
•    Self-motivation and the ability to make sound decisions
•    Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a demanding work environment.
•    Ability to solve complex problems intersecting technology and departmental responsibilities
•    Encourage giving & receiving feedback, while handling such in a positive and respectful manner 
•    Understanding of process documentation and development 
•    Proficiency in workflow creation and optimization 

 

Estimated Min Rate: $14.00
Estimated Max Rate: $20.00
