Seeking an IT Systems Administrator to implement and maintain technology solutions to support internal and external users.  The successful candidate will have experience in implementing and maintaining data center IT infrastructure as well as Microsoft technologies. 
This position will play a lead role in requirements gathering, solution architecture, tool configuration, process integration, and ongoing governance within ITAM platforms such as Freshservice, Ivanti Neurons, ServiceNow, Device42, or similar.
 
Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or ITSM/ITOM roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major ITAM or CMDB platform (e.g., Freshservice, ServiceNow, Ivanti Neurons, Flexera, Device42, Lansweeper).
• Experience integrating data from discovery tools (e.g., SCCM, Tanium, JAMF, Intune, SNMP tools).
• Familiarity with ITIL framework, particularly around Asset Management and Configuration Management processes.
• Must possess ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to organize multiple work tasks and prioritize them to meet specific deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency to read, write and communicate orally the English language, especially IT technical terms and concepts.
• Physical qualifications required to perform the job function: ability to lift 25 lbs., climb stairs, sit for long periods of time.

 
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business and technical requirements related to IT asset discovery, inventory, compliance, and lifecycle tracking.
• Design and configure ITAM solutions that integrate with CMDBs, procurement systems, and service desks.
• Help lead implementation efforts for new asset management platforms or major enhancements to existing ones.
• Define and implement processes for asset onboarding, assignment, utilization, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Ensure proper integration between asset records and other ITSM processes (e.g., incident, change, request, and procurement).
• Configure discovery tools, data normalization engines, and connectors to ingest and reconcile data from various sources (e.g., Ivanti Neurons, SCCM, AWS, Azure).
• Develop or manage scripts/APIs to automate data collection, reporting, and enforcement policies.
• Ensure adherence to software licensing terms, hardware lifecycle policies, and financial audit requirements.
• Implement controls and dashboards for real-time visibility into compliance and inventory gaps.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for ITAM-related projects and initiatives.
• Provide guidance to procurement, finance, security, and service desk teams on asset tracking and usage practices.
• Deliver training, documentation, and knowledge sharing to support ITAM maturity growth across the organization.

Estimated Min Rate: $38.50
