IT Asset Management Analyst I

Under general supervision, the IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for the ongoing warehouse operations of the IT hardware lifecycle process across the organization. This role supports the IT Asset Management (ITAM) practice by:
  • Mitigating financial and legal risks related to vendor compliance
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities related to hardware and support
  • Improving negotiation leverage with vendors
  Key Responsibilities:
  • 50% – Manage shipping, receiving, distribution, tracking, and reconciliation of purchase orders and service requests for all IT hardware assets
  • 10% – Facilitate data disposition in compliance with NERC/CIP regulatory requirements
  • 5% – Serve as liaison between ITAM and other departments to ensure timely hardware deployment
  • 10% – Support the implementation and operation of policies and procedures for effective hardware lifecycle management using the Asset Manager solution
Other Duties:
  • Handle hardware-related purchases
  • Drive company vehicle to deliver equipment to other locations as needed
  Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift/move/carry 10–50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
  • Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ticketing or inventory management systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Prior IT experience in addition to warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance
  • Understanding of IT data analysis tools (Excel, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow)
  Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and innovative
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks based on criticality and meeting deadlines
Additional Information:
  • This is a NERC CIP position; candidate must complete NERC CIP screening requirements
  • Candidate may be required to use a personal vehicle for work-related travel; mileage will be reimbursed according to company policy
  • Candidates must obtain their own parking
