Internal Control Analyst

Internal Control Analyst needed for a 3+ month Contract, Hybrid opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Pay rate: $37 - $43/Hr. *Client will Not accept H1’s or sponsor.

Position Summary: The Internal Control Analyst will support North America’s leadership in governance and risk management by analyzing internal controls, supporting audit initiatives, and ensuring efficient, effective systems aligned with COSO principles. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and offers exposure to global audit/control activities with an emphasis on SAP ERP environments.

What You Need to Bring to the Table/Required Experience:

• 4+ years in Accounting, Internal/External Audit, or Internal Controls
• ERP systems: SAP, NetSuite, Oracle (3+ years)
• GRC tools (e.g., AuditBoard, Arengi, SAP Audit) – minimum 1 year
• Data analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, DOMO) – minimum 1 year
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of experience OR
• Master’s in Accounting or Finance with 2+ years of experience

What You’ll Be Doing/ Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and monitor internal control systems across North America.
• Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits.
• Draft audit reports and maintain follow-up schedules for action items.
• Implement and document an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
• Assist in continuous monitoring programs and support global audit initiatives.
• Peer review findings, reports, and documentation for quality assurance.
• Consolidate team findings and translate technical results for leadership reporting.
• Collaborate closely with SAP-focused teams and help improve documentation quality and control compliance.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:           

• CPA or CIA preferred
• Public company experience preferred
• Strong report writing, documentation, and communication skills
• Familiarity with COSO framework and risk management

Estimated Min Rate: $37.00
Estimated Max Rate: $43.00
