About the Opportunity
Are you a safety professional with a passion for operational excellence and a knack for leadership? We’re looking for a Senior Safety & Compliance Director
who brings deep regulatory knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative spirit. In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor, mentor, and technical authority—helping to shape a culture where safety is second nature.
Act as a Safety and compliance authority offering expert-level guidance across departments, you will:
- Lead incident investigations, applying root cause analysis to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT and CFR 49 regulations, including Hours of Service, CSA, Driver Qualification Files, and Hazardous Materials.
- Design and facilitate engaging safety training programs, with preference for OSHA-authorized instructors.
- Partner with leadership to drive strategic safety initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support the rollout of project plans that enhance safety operations and align with organizational goals.
- Deliver impactful presentations and training sessions to diverse audiences.
- Maintain accurate records and reports using tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- What You Bring to the Table
- A Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field, plus 10+ years of relevant experience.
- OSHA 510 or 511 certification; OSHA Instructor credentials are a strong advantage.
- Preferred certifications include CSP, CHMM, or equivalent.
- A proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of risk mitigation and compliance strategies.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
