Industrial Maintenance Technician (ONSITE)

Industrial Maintenance Technician (ONSITE) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s client working in Richmond, CA.

• Pay Rate: $28-34/hr
• ONSITE
• Hours: 7am-3:30pm

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Employee supports maintenance activities performed by the company maintenance team members. This includes equipment inspections, hands on repair activities, and engages in all safety procedures, PPE, and trainings.
• Makes routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.

• Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs plant machines, equipment, and structures. Centrifugal pumps, valves, pneumatic pumps, electric motors, piping repair, bottle capping, bottle filling, and labelers.

• Operates within prescribed quality and safety policies and procedures.

• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform basic checkouts. Fluke multimeter, Pressure gauges, and vacuum gauges.

• Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment. Mixers, Tanks, Boilers, Compressors, Reactors, and Chillers.

Required:

• 2+ years related facility maintenance experience.
• Good knowledge of methods, practices, and procedures in one or more craft areas. 
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions,
• Proficient with tools and equipment common to trade.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment to resolve maintenance issues.
