- The Department Administrative Coordinator provides support in department general operations and a variety of CSD essential functions, including in the areas of meeting coordination and minutes, calendar management, scheduling, travel arrangement, student employee recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision, equipment licensing and repair management, conference room reservation calendar oversight, management of incoming and outgoing shipping and receiving activities (including FedEx and UPS shipments), management of facilities work orders, photocopier and fax operations, graduation, continuing education, and general event coordination, providing confidential administrative assistance to senior leaders, drafting and finalizing department documentation and compliance, screening and correspondence of department main phone line and general email box, greeting guests/customer service and coordinating admissions tours and events, supply management, keys and department access, concur tracking assistance and reimbursement coordination for budget manager, tracking and reaching out to students regarding completion of program and licensing requirements, serving as a liaison with external institutions, other offices, and clients, and other items.
- Associate degree at minimum, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred
- Prior administrative assistant experience
- Proficiency with Outlook and calendar management
- Experience coordinating departmental activities and operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with students and faculty
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
