Position: Head of Retirement Programs
Location: Hybrid – 3 days in-office (Hudson Yards, NYC), 2 days remote
We’re seeking a strategic and experienced retirement benefits leader to oversee a team of two and drive the evolution of our retirement programs.
This role is critical to shaping long-term financial wellness strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and administration of 401(k), pension, and deferred compensation plans.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on retirement plan design, compliance, and colleague engagement.
- Ensure alignment with total rewards strategy and financial wellness goals.
- Oversee audits and ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
- Develop communication strategies to enhance colleague understanding and participation.
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to benchmark and evolve plan offerings.
- Support enterprise-wide initiatives by integrating retirement strategy into broader HR efforts.
- 15+ years in employee benefits and retirement plan strategy.
- Deep knowledge of ERISA and related regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging messaging.
- Experience in HR consulting and financial wellness programming.
- Demonstrated success in matrixed organizations and cross-functional collaboration.
Reports to the Head of Benefits, who reports to the Head of Total Rewards.
Estimated Min Rate:$122,500.00
Estimated Max Rate:$175,000.00
