Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 7+ years of software development experience using object-oriented programming (Java preferred)
- 5+ years building REST-based microservices with Java and Spring Boot
- Proficiency in unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito)
- Cloud application development experience, especially with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Experience working with asynchronous messaging services such as Kafka, SNS, SQS
- Strong relational database and SQL skills
- Ability to develop reliable software resilient to unreliable environments
- Passion for continuous learning and adopting the latest tech trends
- Strong ownership mindset, with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with Jenkins or build/deploy pipelines
- Knowledge of environment strategies and DevOps practices
- Prior work with resilient messaging architectures
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required
- Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience
