Forklift Operator: Level I

Forklift Operator – Durham, NC Type: Contract (initially approved for one year)
Location: Durham, North Carolina
Shift: 4/3 schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Conversion Potential: Strong possibility of being hired directly by the Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to support operations in a production or warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Moving products or materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or dock loader
• Reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Recording amounts of materials or items received and distributed
• Maintaining equipment in a safe and clean manner and reporting service requests as needed
• Following safety rules, operating instructions, and company procedures

Requirements:

• Valid forklift operation certification
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in a warehouse or production setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Estimated Min Rate: $17.00
Estimated Max Rate: $17.50
