What You Will Be Doing
- Analyze current and historical financial data to assess trends, costs, and revenue performance
- Compare estimated versus actual revenues and evaluate variances
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and consolidated reports
- Produce standard and ad hoc financial reports to support operational and business decisions
- Track financial commitments and obligations to ensure accurate and compliant reporting
- Support the implementation and use of a new customer invoicing platform, including reconciliation activities
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable Federal, State, and local regulations
- Provide guidance and functional support to volunteers involved in financial or administrative processes
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, billing, or related financial operations roles
- Working knowledge of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets
- Experience analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and preparing standard or ad hoc reports
- Familiarity with billing, invoicing, or revenue processes; experience supporting financial systems or platforms is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision
- Ability to communicate clearly and provide guidance to non-financial stakeholders or volunteers
