What You'll Do:
- Lead ETL migration initiatives, moving legacy workflows from tools like Informatica to open-source or cloud-native frameworks such as Snaplogic, Airflow, or DBT.
- Analyze, document, and understand existing ETL logic, creating comprehensive migration artifacts including inventories, source-to-target mappings, and transformation summaries.
- Automate migration and administrative tasks using scripting tools such as Python, Groovy, Java, and leveraging DevOps practices with Jenkins and Terraform.
- Collaborate with architecture, data engineering, and business stakeholders to define migration priorities and sequencing.
- Support deployment and configuration within AWS cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Troubleshoot, support incidents, and manage release procedures ensuring seamless migration activities.
- Proven experience with ETL migration projects, particularly migrating from Informatica to other ETL platforms.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Informatica (administrator or developer).
- Extensive scripting and automation experience in Python, Groovy, Java, or shell scripting.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and IAC tools like Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins and version control.
- Ability to analyze complex ETL logic and document workflows.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Certification in Informatica or other ETL tools.
- Experience with public cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
- Familiarity with automation tools like DevAssist, Co-pilot, or similar.
- Additional scripting or coding expertise in Java or Groovy.
- Supporting experience in incident management and release processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant ETL migration experience, particularly with legacy to modern platform transitions.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model (on-site every other week)
- Ability to support a top-tier, high-impact project expected to last at least one year, with opportunities for ongoing support afterward.
- Strong commitment to innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
