Job Title: Field Canvasser

Schedule: Standard Day Shift Hours
Pay Rate:$22.00/hour
Assignment Length: 1 Year, potential extension through October 2027
Additional Information: You will be working in Teams of 2
No prior experience required

Position Summary:
The Water Line Field Representative supports the Lead Service Line Replacement Project by canvassing neighborhoods in Davenport Iowa. In addition, we anticipate new openings in Clinton, Iowa if interested. This position identifies and documents lead water service lines by speaking with local homeowners and businesses. This is a field-based role with a strong emphasis on community engagement, data collection, and accurate recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will Driving a company supplied vehicle.
• Conduct door-to-door outreach to homeowners and businesses
• Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email
• Collect and update service line data using a company-issued laptop
• Maintain detailed documentation of all interactions and findings
• Support project staff with administrative tasks related to lead service line investigations
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, often on foot and in teams of two

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check, Drug Screen, and Motor Vehicle Report
• Comfortable walking much of the day and climbing stairs on occasion
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
• Good people and communication skills
