Yoh is looking for an experienced Engineering Technician – Custom Mechanical/Electromechanical Assembly to join our client L3Harris in Rochester, NY. Job Summary Yoh is hiring an Engineering Technician for a contract role with L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY. This position is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on experience in assembling custom mechanical and electromechanical products, such as transit cases, racks, and panels, and supporting technical operations in a production or engineering environment. Responsibilities

• Assemble and troubleshoot custom mechanical/electromechanical systems.
• Perform calibration, alignment, and testing of components and devices.
• Assist in the setup and checkout of test equipment.
• Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical assembly or engineering support.
• Proficiency with hand tools, wiring, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to follow established processes and escalate issues appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• 3-6 month contract assignment
• Shift: Monday – Friday from 7am-3:30pm
